Office Manager

I’ve got roots in Boise, Idaho as well as San Diego, California, but I refer to Phoenix as my home. My wonderful family includes my daughter Lyla, my boyfriend and 3 energetic dogs.

I started my career in dentistry as a dental assistant, and have over 14 total years of experience in dentistry. What I learned clinically as an assistant gives me great insight into my role as office manager.

Dentistry has allowed me to grow with the patients I serve. I enjoy making a difference and am proud to be part of a team that genuinely cares.

Away from the office, I enjoy movie nights and cooking. It may seem strange, but I find a spontaneous binge cleaning of the house to be extremely enlightening!

I am a Nebraska girl (and of course, football is in my blood). I’ve been blessed with 3 spectacular children who are all grown up. They tend to keep me on my toes, even to this day.

Dentistry has been a big part of my life and I love what I do. I am a happy person and feel like my job allows me to put people at ease. I like to see people smile and I enjoy smiling back.

For relaxation, I like to try new wines and find myself preparing meals quite often for my family. There is nothing better than spending time with those you love.

I enjoy a sense of community and cherish the “small town” feel that I grew up with.

I grew up in Phoenix my whole life and have endured through all of its changes. My wonderful family includes my spunky 80 yr old mother, 4 grown sons, a daughter-in-law and my adorable Sheppard mix rescue puppy Lola.

I have been in dentistry for nearly 30 years. I spent the first 20 years of my career as a dental assistant and the last decade as an insurance specialist.

I love many things about dentistry, but most of all, I love meeting new people. I am a people person. I love helping patients overcome their dental fears, and I love seeing the instant confidence a new smile can deliver.

For fun, I relish spontaneous trips, laughing, and spending quality time with my family and friends. One interesting fact about me is that I know more about football than most men.

I grew up in Mesa, Arizona. As a child, I was lucky to be best friends with my sister. We rarely fought, which I guess can be rare among siblings. I currently have a boyfriend and 2 cats, Doobie and Buffalo. I enjoy spending time with my niece, who brings tons of energy into a room.

Dentistry gives me an opportunity to help people smile. I love to be a part of improving people’s lives and find some of the cosmetic procedure that I help treatment plan can really make a big impact in someone’s confidence. I am always learning new things, and find the advancement of dentistry to be very exciting.

On my days off, I enjoy hiking, refinishing old furniture, and working out. You might be surprised to learn that I compete in fitness competitions. So when I tell you to floss….you better floss!

My childhood took place in West Ghent, New York. People say I’m a nice New Yorker. I share my life
with my husband of more than 20 years, Steven, and our two amazing boys.

I enjoy helping patients. I put a lot of effort in making people more comfortable and relaxed while at the dentist office. In fact, I even have some patients “excited” to come see me. I think that says something about the pride and joy I take in my role as a hygienist. I’m not tired of doing this…I actually love it.

In my leisure, I enjoy Yoga, travel, and spending time with my family. We try to go back to New York every summer, which is a nice break from the Arizona heat.

You might not ever guess it, but previously I was in the United States Army Reserves.

I grew up in Topeka, Indiana and graduated from Carteret Community College in 2003. After spending most of my winters shoveling snow, I recently decided to move to the desert and thaw out.

I have been a dental assistant for 10 exciting years. I love being a dental assistant and I find great satisfaction in my career when I see a patient’s confidence being restored with a beautiful smile! There is nothing more valuable to me than to make a difference in someone’s life, and I look forward to daily making an impact with the patients I see.

I enjoy playing with my dog Mia and cat Milo. In my spare time, I enjoy riding horses, hiking, and traveling to all parts of the country.

One interesting fact about me is that I am also a licensed cosmetologist!

I am a native Arizonian, and proud to call Glendale my home. I am a middle child, with an older brother who protected me and a younger sister who was my best friend (and worst enemy at times). I have two wonderful children of my own and am excited to have a third on the way!

One of my favorite things about dentistry is getting to know the people I treat. I cherish my role in health care, and find my job rewarding in that I’m able to help educate and help so many others. When a patient leaves the office more aware and knowledgeable about their health, I feel like I’ve achieved something important.

I am an active parent at my children’s school and enjoy helping out when I can. I find that I’m pretty good at adapting to all kinds of environments, and I really enjoy what life brings.
